Scott Welch - President, Welch Builders, Inc.
Scott Welch was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, where he developed a passion for homebuilding as a second-generation builder. As President of Welch Builders, Inc., Scott has been a registered builder since 1986, specializing in custom-built homes and high-quality renovations.

A recognized leader in the Louisville homebuilding industry, Scott has participated in 12 Homearama events hosted by the Building Industry Association of Louisville, earning a prestigious Grand Award along with numerous accolades for his innovative floor plans, superior craftsmanship, and creative designs.

Over the years, Scott has built homes in many of Louisville’s premier communities, including Gardner Park, Locust Creek, Lake Forest, Sutherland, Owl Creek, Persimmon Ridge, Glenmary, and Indian Springs. His success in homebuilding naturally led to an expansion into land development, beginning with Welchire Falls, a single-family home community. In 2004, Scott established Notting Hill Development, which developed the land for Notting Hill, a thriving mixed-use community in eastern Jefferson County. The Notting Hill Garden Homes section received the prestigious President’s Grand Award for Best Development, along with multiple awards for Best Builder Home Design.

Scott later partnered with his brother, Mark Welch, to form Welch Developers, a land development company responsible for notable projects in Notting Hill, the Smyrna Road area, and an ongoing development in Mt. Washington. Their Smyrna Road project, Loan Oak, was honored with the Best Single-Family Home Development Award.

Beyond his professional success, Scott is deeply committed to the building industry. He has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Building Industry Association of Louisville, leading the organization as President in 2019. He has played a key role in mentoring new builders, serving on the Land Development Committee and the Registered Builder Committee.

Scott has also made a significant impact through his philanthropic efforts, serving as Chairman of the Building Industry Charitable Foundation (BICF), which supports individuals and families in need of construction-related assistance within the local community.

Currently, Scott serves as President of the Home Builders Association of Kentucky, continuing his dedication to advancing the homebuilding industry and fostering excellence in construction and development across the state.

Wesley Noe
Project Superintendent
​Wes Noe brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the building industry to his role as Project Superintendent with Welch Builders. A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Wes has a deep passion for the craft of homebuilding and the unique opportunities each day presents.

Drawn to Welch Builders for its reputation in luxury custom homes, Wes thrives on guiding projects from blueprint to completion, ensuring every detail is executed with care and precision. For him, the most rewarding part of the process is seeing a client’s vision take shape and come to life.
Dianne Wolfe
Operations and Logistics Coordinator
With over 25 years of experience in new construction and remodeling, Dianne Wolfe has been a dedicated part of Welch Builders and Remodeling for 15 years. As Operations Manager, Dianne oversees the daily office functions, handling everything from fielding calls with new and existing customers to coordinating with vendors to ensure timely deliveries to job sites. Her versatility and hands-on approach make her a key player in keeping projects on track and ensuring the company's high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
